It all started on the Kentucky River where Johnnie Allman served his cousin’s Joe’s Snappy Cheese at the historic Driftwood Inn. Today, the Beer Cheese Trail consists of ten stops – each offering their own unique and delicious selections. No beer cheese in the world is more authentic than the kind made on the Beer Cheese Trail. It all started here!
Get started by grabbing an official Cheese Log at participating restaurants or at our Visitor Center located at 2 South Maple Street, Winchester, KY 40391.
- Order any beer cheese item from the menu.
- Experience the unique and delicious flavors!
- Have your Cheese Log officially stamped or track your progress on your mobile device by using our FREE Tour Winchester app and clicking on the Beer Cheese Trail icon.
- Repeat steps 1 – 3 at a minimum of five restaurants on the Beer Cheese Trail.
