A Christmas Festival

Dec 5 – Dec 25 all-day

Due to the Governor’s restrictions on mass gatherings and guidance from the Clark County Health Department our Christmas celebration will look a little different this year. In lieu of our traditional Christmas Parade we will have a drive thru Christmas Festival! Drive through the Christmas Festival route with your family any time between Saturday, December 5, 2020 and Christmas Day, December 25, 2020. Enjoy the lights & sounds of Christmas!

Site maps will be made available at City Hall, Clark County Courthouse, and HERE on Friday, December 5, 2020!

Want to participate? As part of the Christmas Festival, we are asking individuals, churches, businesses, schools, etc. to decorate and then register your site at https://form.jotform.com/203074585227153 .

Downtown Jingle & Mingle @ Main Street

Wave at Santa in his sleigh! Mail your letter to Santa! All at the Parlette on North Main Street!

Stay for the Christmas tree lighting at the Clark County Courthouse 6:00pm!

Remember to mask up and practice socoal distancing!

Long Hike @ Lower Howards Creek Nature Preserve

Dec 5 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

We’ll visit various historic sites in the Preserve and take the inner loop on this 3-hour hike where stop at the overlook to take in the views. This hike is strenuous, but there will be rest opportunities, and begins at the Main Entrance (0.7 mile north of Hall’s on the River on Athens-Boonesboro Rd.). Pets are not permitted in state nature preserves.

Registration is required for each participant. Call or Text 859-806-2466 with questions.

PLEASE NOTE: We will social distance on the hike. Participants must bring a mask and be prepared to wear it if we are in an area where social distancing is difficult.

Join us every Tuesday from 6:00-9:00 as we kick off open mic night hosted by Liz Frazier of the Ox-Eyed Daisies.
Don’t worry we are taking the proper precautions to keep you safe! We will have two mics and they will be cleaned after each performance. Feel free to bring your own mic too and of course bring your own instrument. Sound will be provided!
We will have a rotating food truck most every Tuesday from 5:00-9:00!
