Painting with Santa

We will paint ornaments with Santa. We have new ornaments this season. Stop by between the hours of 4-6 to paint an ornament and talk to Santa. Light refreshments will be served.

Long Hike at Lower Howards Creek

LONG HIKE Saturday, November 20th 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. We’ll visit various historic sites in the Preserve and take the inner loop on this 3-hour hike where stop at the overlook to take in the views. This hike is strenuous, but there will be rest opportunities, and begins at the Main Entrance (0.7 mile north of Hall’s on the River on Athens-Boonesboro Rd.). Pets are not permitted on state nature preserves. Contact 859- 806-2466 with questions.

Registration is required for each participant.

PLEASE NOTE: We will social distance on the hike. Participants must bring a mask and be prepared to wear it if we are in an area where social distancing is difficult.

The Emmy-winning Downstream TV series explores the secrets and histories of our intricate waterways in a recreational context with side”bars” to the state’s most unique distilleries, breweries and wineries. The Downstream television program is an educational travel series with a POV perspective, somewhat scripted, somewhat un-scripted, reality based adventures.

NYE at Abettor-LexAve!

One of Abettor’s favorites Jonathan New will be bringing the band and giggin’ with us 8pm-11pm for NYE this year! Food truck to be announced!
Come dressed as your favorite dichotomous characters! Batman and Robin, Cops and Robbers, or even Sonny and Cher. Well leave that part up to you and we’ll take care of the rest!

The dynamic duo is coming back to warm you up on a cold December day along side Kyle’s Kitchen!

The Factory inspired NYE celebration at Depot Street

Spend New Years Eve with Abettor Brewing Co in true Andy Warhol fashion! A costume party focused around the Andy’s famous hang out “The Factory”! The perfect theme for the first New Years Even party at their new location on N. Highland Avenue!

All tickets include access to the event. Live music provided as well as hors d’oeuvres & a champagne toast at midnight!

Abettor will have their kitchen “The Source” open for additional eating options and they will be offering era specific cocktails in addition to our usual menu.

Musical act and tickets to be announced at a later date!

Singles tickets start at $35 and increases to $40 and $50 the closer we get to the event.

Couples tickets start at $50 and increases to $65 and $80 the closer we get to the event.

Table rental, which hold 4-6 people start at $175 and increases to to $225 and $250 the closer we get to the event.

Single admits one person.

Couple admits two people.

Table admits up to 6.

Names will be prompted on purchase.

Single/double tickets are not required for a table. It is not an “additional” charge.

Chrismas Bazaar: Holiday Night Market

Abettor had a summer market, and you loved it! They had a Oktoberfest market and you loved it! Now lets have a 3 part Christmas Market!

They will be featuring more vendors than ever across the three week event taking place in the brewing facility of their new location on Highland and Depot Street!

What better way to support local businesses during the holidays than coming out and getting gifts for your loved ones through local sources! You don’t have to wait for these good to get off a ship!

We will have food from our kitchen “The Source” three-four different musicians, and all the beverages you could ever hope for!
