The John Holder Trail was opened in 2012 for hiking; however, because of overuse and misuse, the trail was closed to unlimited public access in 2020. We’ll hike the John Holder Trail and stop at several points of interest. Our volunteers have worked hard to improve the viewshed from the trail. A low-water crossing is required. Meet at the trailhead at Hall’s on the River Restaurant. Please contact 859-806-2466 with questions.
PLEASE NOTE: We will social distance on the hike. Participants must bring a mask and be prepared to wear it if we are in an area where social distancing is difficult.
